I recently watched a TV episode on Greece where Rick highlighted the track and field events held in Nemea. It got me thinking about the 50th anniversary of the excavations at Nemea's Olympic facilities. Has anyone visited Nemea recently? I'm curious about the current state of the excavations and if there are any special events or exhibits planned to commemorate this milestone. Also, for those who have been, how does visiting Nemea compare to other ancient Olympic sites in Greece?
