Our transatlantic cruise will arrive in Rotterdam near the end of April 2025. I'm hoping to receive some advice on what to do next. Should we explore Rotterdam itself or consider day trips to nearby cities like Amsterdam or The Hague? Also, any tips on local transport and must-see attractions would be super helpful. Excited to hear your suggestions!

Rotterdam is a fantastic city to explore with its modern architecture and vibrant culture—don’t miss the Markthal or the Cube Houses! But since you’re adventurous, I’d definitely recommend day trips too. Amsterdam is a must for its canals and museums, while The Hague offers a mix of history and coastal charm. For transport, trains are efficient and easy to use. Have you thought about renting bikes for a more immersive experience?

Ah, Rotterdam—where modern meets maritime! Since you’re already in the mood for adventure, why not mix it up? Start with Rotterdam’s quirky Cube Houses and Markthal (bonus points if you try stroopwafels there). Then, hop on a train—it’s like a Dutch time machine—and zip over to Amsterdam for canal vibes or The Hague for some royal flair. And yes, bikes are basically the Dutch version of walking. Just remember: the wind is your frenemy. Ready to pedal your way through the Netherlands?
