Question Are Kids Allowed on Rick Steves Tours?

I'm considering booking a Rick Steves tour for my family, including my 10-year-old child. I know they offer Family Tours, but I'm curious if children are allowed on their other tours as well. Has anyone traveled with kids on a non-family tour? How was the experience for both the kids and the adults?
