Discussion Are Two-Night Stops Too Short?

I recently wrapped up an amazing RS tour in the Basque Country, and I couldn't help but wonder about the itinerary setup. Do you guys think that two-night stops at each location are too brief? While I loved visiting a bunch of places, I sometimes felt rushed and would have loved an extra day to soak it all in. Have you experienced this on your travels? How do you balance exploring new places while still having enough time to enjoy them?
