Review Bad Experience with Booking.com

I've used Booking.com several times before without any major issues, but my recent experience was disappointing. I booked a flight and accommodation package, but when I arrived, the hotel claimed they had no record of my booking. Customer service was unhelpful, and it took days to resolve, ruining the start of my trip. Has anyone else faced similar issues with Booking.com? How did you handle it, and would you recommend using them again or switching to another platform?
