My wife and I are planning a trip to the Caribbean at the end of March, and flights are surprisingly reasonable to Bridgetown, Barbados. I was there about 15 years ago, mostly surfing the south side and the northern tip of the island. However, I remember the drives being pretty long, and I'm not sure my wife would be up for that much time in the car. We're looking for a mix of relaxation and maybe a bit of surfing. Does anyone have recommendations for areas in Barbados that offer both easy access to beaches and some surf spots without needing to drive all over the island? Or should we consider flying into San Juan instead for a better balance?
