We're trying to decide the best location and village to stay in for our exploration of the Wachau Valley. We're planning for 2 nights and want to make the most of our time there. Does anyone have recommendations for accommodations that offer a great view or are centrally located for easy access to vineyards and historical sites? Also, which villages would you suggest staying in for a mix of scenery, wine tasting, and local culture?
