Dear all, we're coming to Greece for 13 days in mid-April and planning to spend 7 days exploring the Peloponnese region after starting in Nafplion. We're looking for recommendations on the best base town in the center or west of Peloponnese to stay in. We're interested in historical sites, beautiful landscapes, and local cuisine. Any suggestions on towns that offer a good mix of these and are well-located for day trips around the area? Also, any must-visit places or hidden gems nearby would be greatly appreciated.
