We will be in Germany this summer, and both my husband and I are looking to bring a hat for sun protection. We're not sure what type of hat would be best for both comfort and effective sun protection. Are wide-brimmed hats the way to go, or are there other styles that work well too? Also, any recommendations on materials that are breathable yet offer good UV protection? Would love to hear what others have used and found effective during their summer travels.
