Planning a 7-day trip to Croatia with 4 nights in Split and 3 nights in Dubrovnik. We're a couple in our fifties looking for comfortable, centrally located hotels that offer a good balance of quality and value. Prefer places with character, maybe some history, and definitely good local food options nearby. Any recommendations for hotels or areas to stay in that fit the bill?
