Advice Best Restaurants in Porto and Lisbon

We will be in Porto and then Lisbon in late September and are looking for moderately priced restaurants to check out. Any recommendations for local dishes we shouldn't miss? Also, what are some hidden gems that might not be on the tourist radar? I'd love to hear about your favorites in both cities!

For Porto, don’t miss out on trying the famous Francesinha at Café Santiago; it’s a hearty sandwich that’s a local favorite. As for hidden gems, Taberna da Ribeira offers delicious tapas in a cozy setting. In Lisbon, make sure to grab a pastel de nata at Pastéis de Belém and head to Time Out Market for a variety of food stalls.
