We're wrapping up our trip with a journey from Inverness back to Edinburgh and have two days to make the trip. We're considering taking the scenic route through the Cairngorms National Park or heading east towards the coast for some seaside views. Has anyone done this trip and can recommend which route offers the best mix of scenery and interesting stops? Also, any must-visit spots along the way would be great to know!
