I'm organizing a trip for 9 adults to Munich for Oktoberfest this year and we're looking to rent a house for the week. Munich itself seems pretty booked up or expensive, so I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for towns nearby that are convenient for getting to and from the festival. We're looking for a balance between affordability and ease of transport. Any suggestions on areas to look at or avoid would be super helpful!
