Hi all! I need some guidance: my 15-year-old son wants to take a trip to Europe with his friends, and I'm a bit unsure about the rules and regulations around this. Has anyone had experience with minors traveling without a parent? What kind of paperwork do we need, and are there particular countries that are more lenient or strict about this? Any tips or advice would be really helpful!

Traveling alone as a minor can be tricky, especially internationally. Most European countries require a notarized letter of consent from both parents, along with a copy of their passports. Some airlines and countries might also ask for additional documentation like a birth certificate. It’s crucial to check the specific requirements of the destination country and the airline your son will be using. Have you considered starting with a shorter trip to see how he handles it?
