Question Copenhagen to Oslo: Train or Ferry?

Hi fellow travelers! I'm planning a trip to Copenhagen with my daughter for May of this year, and we're thinking about heading over to Oslo as part of our journey. I'm torn between taking the train or the ferry. The train seems quicker, but the ferry offers some stunning views of the coastline. Has anyone made this trip before? What would you recommend for a more enjoyable experience, especially when traveling with a kid? Also, any tips on booking the best deals would be super helpful!
