I'm planning a trip to Scotland in early September and I've heard that midges can be a real nuisance, especially in certain areas. Does anyone have experience with how bad they are around this time of year? Are there specific regions or times of day when they're worse? Also, any tips on how to effectively keep them at bay would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
