We recently took the Eagles Nest tour based out of the information center in Berchtesgaden. It was fairly organized, but I'm curious if anyone else has done it and what your thoughts were. Specifically, if you've watched any documentaries or read about the history beforehand, did it enhance your experience? Also, any tips for making the most out of the tour would be great. We found the views breathtaking, but I wonder if there's more to it that we might have missed.
