I'm considering staying at Edinburgh University this summer, specifically in August, but I'm aware that the city gets pretty packed and pricey due to all the festivals like the Fringe and the Tattoo. Has anyone stayed at the university accommodations during this time? How was your experience with the crowds, the cost, and the overall vibe of the city? Also, any tips on making the most out of the festival season without breaking the bank would be super helpful.
