Renting a car in Athens in mid May for few days after landing from Naxos at 11 am. Estimating by the time I pick up the car and hit the road, it'll be early afternoon. Planning to drive to Nafplio first, spend a couple of days there, and then head back to Athens. I've heard about Epidarvos being a must-see on the way back. Has anyone stopped there? Is it worth the detour, and how much time should I allocate for a visit? Also, any tips for the drive itself, especially regarding traffic or scenic routes?
