Question Extra Charges for Using Credit Cards on BTS, MRT?

I'm curious about using credit cards for payments on BTS, MRT, and other trains. Does tapping a credit card incur any extra charges? Also, is there a difference in fees or acceptance between using a Thai card versus an international card? If anyone has been using their credit card for train payments, I'd love to hear about your experience and any tips you might have.
