We're taking a transatlantic cruise from Miami to Barcelona, and after the cruise, we want to spend about a week exploring Europe with our kids. We’re particularly interested in destinations that are family-friendly, offering activities that will keep our little ones entertained. Should we stick to Spain, or are there other nearby countries that provide great experiences for families? Any recommendations for cities, attractions, or tips would be super helpful!

How exciting to have a transatlantic cruise followed by a week in Europe! While Spain has fantastic family-friendly options, consider also venturing into France or Portugal. In Spain, Barcelona is great with its parks like Park Güell and the aquarium. If you cross into France, Disneyland Paris is a must for kids and just a short train ride away. Portugal offers beautiful beaches in the Algarve, perfect for some relaxation after your cruise. Any specific interests your kids have? That might help narrow down the options!

That sounds like an amazing adventure! If your kids love outdoor activities, consider heading to the Basque Country in Spain. It's got stunning landscapes and fun activities like hiking and surfing. If they enjoy history, Toledo is just a quick train ride from Madrid, with its rich culture and beautiful architecture. Plus, the food is a hit with kids—tapas are always a fun way to eat! Have you thought about incorporating any local festivals or events during your week? That could add a unique touch to the trip! 😄
