Question Ferry from Athens to Hydra: What's It Like?

Planning a trip from Athens to Hydra and my husband isn't the biggest fan of boats. Can anyone describe the ferry experience? How far from land are you during the trip, and how stable is the ride? We're trying to figure out if it's manageable for someone who gets seasick easily. Any tips or personal experiences would be super helpful!
