This morning I crossed the border into Estonia on foot from a town called Ape in northern Latvia, and I have to say, Tartu is quickly becoming my new favorite city! The vibe here is so unique, with its blend of history and modernity. I’ve already explored the charming streets and had a coffee at a lovely little café. What’s really struck me is the youthful energy, thanks to the university. Has anyone else visited Tartu? What were your favorite spots or experiences? Any hidden gems I should check out while I'm here?

Tartu sounds fantastic! It’s like the hipster cousin of Tallinn, isn’t it? 😂 If you’re looking for hidden gems, don’t miss the Tartu Observatory—perfect for stargazing and science buffs. And for a quirky experience, check out the Estonian National Museum; it’s got some odd exhibits that are fun to explore. What’s your favorite thing you’ve done so far?
Plus, I hear the local beer is worth a try! 🍻
