My husband and I are doing a 17-day trip in August, flying into Munich and out of Amsterdam. We're trying to figure out the best way to split our time between Germany and the Netherlands. We love history, culture, and good food, and we're also interested in some light hiking or outdoor activities. Does anyone have recommendations for must-see places or hidden gems in these areas? Also, any advice on transportation between cities would be super helpful. We're considering trains but open to other options if they're more convenient or scenic.
