Question Hidden Gems Near Malaga: Small Towns to Explore

We're finalizing our plans for two weeks in Spain, with 4 days in Malaga. Last November, we mainly explored the city and took a trip to Ronda. This time, I’m eager to discover small towns that aren't too touristy. Are there any traditional, laid-back places we can reach by bus or train for a day trip? You're in for a treat with the smaller towns around Malaga! I highly recommend visiting Mijas—it's a charming white-washed village with stunning views and lovely streets to wander. Another great option is Nerja, known for its beautiful beaches and the impressive caves. Both towns have a relaxed vibe and can be easily reached by bus. Have you looked into the local cuisine in these areas? It’s a great way to dive deeper into the culture!
