Question Is Spili, Crete Worth a Visit for Hiking?

We're considering adjusting our travel plans to include a few days in Spili, Crete, primarily for hiking. Initially, we had Thronos in mind, but Spili's natural beauty and trails have caught our attention. Has anyone spent time hiking in Spili? How does it compare to other areas in Crete for outdoor activities? We're looking for a mix of scenic views and manageable trails. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
