My wife and I have planned a cruise via Norwegian Cruises next September 2025, and we'll be ending in Istanbul. We're trying to decide whether we should book a hotel closer to the airport for convenience or stay in the historic area to soak up the culture. What have your experiences been like? Is the airport area worth it, or should we prioritize being near the sights like Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar? Any recommendations would be super helpful!
