Advice Itinerary for WWI and WWII Sites with Teens

Hoping for some help with our specific interests. We're flying from the US to Amsterdam next August and would love to create an itinerary that includes significant WWI and WWII sites. Since we're traveling with teenagers, we're looking for places that are not only educational but also engaging for them. What are some must-visit sites in the Netherlands and nearby countries? Any tips on making history come alive for the younger crowd would be great too!
