We just returned from Scotland and can highly recommend the following: The Bosville Hotel in Portree, Isle of Skye, for its cozy rooms and amazing views. The Fairy Pools hike was breathtaking, and Edinburgh's Royal Mile is a must for history buffs. Also, don't miss the whisky tours if you're into that. Curious to hear if others have different favorites or hidden gems in Scotland.
Sounds like you had an incredible trip! I’ve always wanted to visit the Fairy Pools—how challenging was the hike? For hidden gems, I’d suggest Glencoe for its dramatic landscapes and the charming town of Pitlochry. Both are a bit quieter but equally stunning. Did you get a chance to explore any lesser-known spots?
