I recently stayed at the Lisboa Carmo Hotel and had a pretty rough experience. When we arrived, there was a giant roach in our room, which was definitely not the welcome we expected. I managed to kill it, but my wife was so freaked out she wouldn't even walk in. On top of that, we noticed some other issues with cleanliness, and we felt a bit misled by the reviews. Has anyone else had a similar experience at this hotel or any suggestions on how to handle these kinds of situations? It’s frustrating when you book a place expecting a nice stay and it turns out to be so different.
