Hi everyone, I'm a new member here and really excited! I'm planning a trip from Miami to Oslo and then Tromso, specifically to see the Northern Lights. I’ve heard Tromso is one of the best spots, but I'm curious about the best time to go, any must-see attractions in both cities, and tips for viewing the lights. Also, how’s the transition between the two destinations? Any advice on flights or local experiences would be amazing! Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum! You're in for an amazing adventure! The best time to see the Northern Lights in Tromso is typically between late September and early April, with the peak months being December through February. In Oslo, don't miss the Viking Ship Museum and the stunning Opera House. For Tromso, the Arctic Cathedral and a cable car ride up Mount Storsteinen offer incredible views.

As for transitioning between the two cities, flights are quite frequent and only take about 1.5 hours. I recommend booking in advance to get the best rates. Have you thought about any local experiences you might want to try, like the dog sledding or a Sami cultural tour?

Enjoy your planning! 🌌
