We're planning a 9-day trip to Slovenia and considering spending 2 nights on the coast. Torn between Piran in Slovenia and Trieste in Italy. Both look stunning, but we're looking for a place that offers a mix of beautiful scenery, good food, and a bit of history. Has anyone visited both? Which one would you recommend for a short stay? Also, any must-see spots or hidden gems in either town?
