My husband and I (both in our late fifties) will be traveling to Japan for the first time in June. We're super excited but also a bit overwhelmed with planning. We're interested in a mix of cultural experiences, nature, and of course, the food. We're thinking of starting in Tokyo, then heading to Kyoto, and maybe exploring some rural areas. Does anyone have recommendations for must-visit places or hidden gems that are particularly nice in June? Also, any tips on dealing with the rainy season would be super helpful. Looking forward to your advice!
