Hey everyone, I'm planning a surfing trip to Costa Rica with my wife in May and could use some advice. We'll be staying around Hermosa and I'll have a 4x4 rental car. I plan to surf a couple of hours daily, depending on the waves and my shoulders. But I'm also looking for things to do with my wife during our downtime. I've heard Jaco is nearby – is it worth heading there for dinner and drinks? Also, any recommendations for jungle hikes or other activities? Last time I was in Hermosa, we surfed near the Backyard Bar, which was awesome. I noticed they have a nice hotel there – has anyone stayed there and can share their experience? Looking forward to your tips!
