We've just returned from a two-week trip to the UK, where we spent the first week driving around the countryside and the second week exploring cities on foot. I thought I'd share a quick review of the shoes we wore, as finding the right footwear can make or break a trip. For the countryside, we opted for sturdy hiking boots, which were great for muddy trails but maybe a bit overkill for the occasional walk. In the cities, we switched to comfortable sneakers, which were perfect for long days of sightseeing but got soaked in the rain. Did anyone else find the perfect shoe for a mix of activities? Or any tips for keeping feet dry without sacrificing comfort?
