My adult sons and I are flying into Rome for three nights and then planning to head up to Switzerland (thinking of areas like Zermatt or Interlaken) before looping back to Milan to fly home. We have 8 days in total. I'm wondering if this is too ambitious or if it's doable without feeling rushed. Also, any recommendations on must-see spots or efficient travel routes between these places would be super helpful. Has anyone done a similar trip? How did you manage your time and what were your highlights?
