Hello everybody, I'm leaving for a 3-day weekend in Sofia and I'll try visiting some stuff outside the city as well. I'm really excited but also a bit overwhelmed with all the options. I'm thinking of checking out the Rila Monastery and maybe taking a day trip to Plovdiv, but I'm not sure if that's too ambitious for such a short trip. Has anyone done something similar? Any tips on must-see places or how to best manage time would be super helpful. Also, any local food recommendations in Sofia? Thanks in advance!
