Hello everyone! I'm making travel plans to go solo, and I'm torn between Lima, Peru, and Madrid, Spain. As a single African American woman, I'm particularly interested in safety, cultural experiences, and places that are welcoming. Has anyone traveled to either destination solo? What should I be aware of, and do you have any tips on connecting with locals? Any insights would be super helpful!
