Advice Solo Travel Tips for Black Women in Europe/South America

Hello everyone! I'm making travel plans to go solo, and I'm torn between Lima, Peru, and Madrid, Spain. As a single African American woman, I'm particularly interested in safety, cultural experiences, and places that are welcoming. Has anyone traveled to either destination solo?
