Question Surfing in Hossegor: Board Rentals & Best Waves?

I'm heading to Hossegor for a week of surfing next month and I'm super excited! Since I won't be bringing my own board, I'm looking for recommendations on where to rent a high-performance short board. Most places seem to advertise soft tops and fish boards, but I'm hoping to find something more suited for the waves there. Any specific shops or rentals you guys would recommend? Also, I've heard the waves can be epic at times—what are the best days or times to catch them? Would love to hear your insights!

As for the waves, the best times are usually early morning or late afternoon when the winds are lighter. Keep an eye on the swell forecasts too!
