I recently stayed at the Trim Castle Hotel based on Rick Steves' high recommendation, but I have to say, it was a big letdown. The experience was far from what I'd expect from a 4-star hotel. The service was lacking, and the overall atmosphere didn't live up to the hype. Has anyone else had a similar experience here? I'm curious to hear if my visit was an exception or if others have found it overrated as well.
