We're heading out in a few weeks for a 10-day trip to Belgium and Paris, flying into CDG and then taking a train to Belgium. We're debating whether to get trip insurance for this short but international trip. Given the logistics of train travel and the fact that it's not a super long trip, I'm wondering if the cost of insurance is justified. Does anyone have insights or experiences with trip insurance for similar trips? How did it work out for you?

Trip insurance can be a lifesaver, even for shorter trips! Given the international aspect and the train travel between countries, it’s worth considering. I’ve had friends who faced unexpected train delays and missed connections, and their insurance covered rebooking costs. Plus, it’s peace of mind for health emergencies abroad. Have you checked if your credit card offers any travel protection? Sometimes that’s a good starting point!
