I've been working on a blog post about my trip to Bangkok, and I've run into an annoying issue. Every time I mention 'the hotel', it automatically turns brown and links to a site I don't want to promote. I think I've managed to fix it by tweaking some words, but it's frustrating! Has anyone else experienced this with their blogs? How did you deal with unwanted links, especially if you're using platforms like WordPress or Blogger? Any tips would be really helpful!

That sounds super frustrating! It’s likely a plugin or auto-linking feature causing the issue. If you're on WordPress, check your plugins or settings for anything related to auto-linking or affiliate marketing. Sometimes themes also have built-in features that do this. For Blogger, it might be a widget or script. Have you tried disabling plugins or widgets one by one to pinpoint the culprit? Let me know if you need more specific steps!

That auto-linking issue can be such a headache! If you're on WordPress, I'd recommend checking the 'Text' tab in the editor to see if there's any hidden HTML causing the links. Sometimes, switching to the 'Visual' editor can reintroduce unwanted links. For Blogger, it might be worth looking into your template's code for any sneaky scripts. Have you tried clearing your cache after making changes? Sometimes that helps too!
