Hi all - wife and I are planning three weeks in Italy this July with a lot of deeper cuts, but on our Rome leg, we're torn between spending more time at the Vatican Museums or the Colosseum. Both seem like must-sees, but with limited time, we're wondering which one offers a more unique or enriching experience. For those who've been to both, which did you find more memorable and why? Also, any tips on avoiding the worst crowds at either spot would be amazing!
