This will be our first trip to Austria (and last trip there for a long time so we want to make it count). We're trying to decide whether to start with Vienna and then go to Salzburg, or the other way around. We're interested in history, music, and just soaking in the local culture. Does the order really matter? For those who've been, which city did you start with and why? Any advice on how to split our time between the two?
