Hi there! I'm going to visit my Russian girlfriend in late November and will be staying in Moscow for the first night. I’d love some tips on what to do while I’m there. Any recommendations for must-see attractions, local cuisine I should try, or things to be cautious about? Also, how’s the weather around that time? Any insights would be really helpful. Thanks!

Late November in Moscow can be quite chilly, so pack warm layers! For must-see attractions, Red Square and the Kremlin are iconic, and the GUM department store nearby is beautifully lit for the holidays. Don’t miss trying borscht or pelmeni for authentic Russian cuisine. Also, be mindful of the shorter daylight hours—plan indoor activities for the evenings. Have you thought about visiting any of the city’s museums or theaters?
