Question Where to Stay in Berner Oberland?

We're planning a trip to Zermatt from April 15-17, 2025, and then heading to Berner Oberland. I’m a bit overwhelmed with options and wondering what are the best areas to consider for accommodations? We’re looking for a mix of stunning views and easy access to hiking trails. Should we stay in Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, or maybe somewhere else? Any recommendations on hotels or guesthouses would also be super helpful!

Staying in Lauterbrunnen is a fantastic choice! It’s surrounded by stunning waterfalls and gives you easy access to trails like the one to Mürren. Grindelwald is also great, especially if you enjoy picturesque mountain views and a lively village atmosphere. For accommodations, I recommend checking out Hotel Oberland in Lauterbrunnen or Hotel Gletschergarten in Grindelwald for comfort and great views.
