Question Which Plug Adapter Do I Need for Budapest?

I'm planning a trip to Budapest and came across a bit of confusion regarding plug adapters. My guide book mentions a 2 prong plug adapter, but when I searched online, I found that Hungary uses type C and F plugs. Does anyone have recent experience traveling to Budapest and can confirm which plug adapter is necessary? Also, any tips on where to buy a reliable adapter would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
