We will be in London for a few days at the end of October with my mother. We're considering a day trip to either York, Bath, or Durham but can't decide which one to explore. Each place seems to offer something unique, and we'd love to know what you think! What are the must-see attractions in each city? How about the vibe and accessibility from London? Any suggestions for a memorable day trip?

For a memorable day trip with your mother, I’d lean towards Bath for its relaxed vibe and stunning Georgian architecture. The Roman Baths and Bath Abbey are must-sees, and it’s very accessible from London by train. York is also lovely with its medieval charm and the iconic York Minster, but it can feel a bit busier. Durham is quieter and has a beautiful cathedral, though it’s a bit further away. Which vibe do you think your mom would enjoy most?
