I'm planning a trip to Bordeaux, France in June and looking for hotel recommendations. I'm aiming for something moderately priced, safe, and comfortable. Ideally, it would be in a convenient location for exploring the city. Does anyone have any favorite spots they've stayed at or heard good things about? Any hidden gems or places to avoid would also be helpful to know.

For a moderate-priced stay in Bordeaux, I'd recommend checking out the Chartrons district. It's a bit quieter but still close to the city center, with charming streets and great local cafes. Hotels like Hôtel de Sèze or Hôtel de la Boétie often offer good value for comfort and location. Have you considered staying near the Quinconces area? It's central and perfect for exploring on foot.
